1善用空间的演讲

所谓空间就是指进行演说的场所范围、演讲者所在之处以及与听众间的距离等等。演说者所在之处以位居听众注意力容易汇集的地方最为理想。例如开会的时候、主席多半位居会议桌的上方、因为该处正是最容易汇集出席者注意力的地方。

反之,如果主席位居会议桌之正中央,则会议的进行情况会变如何呢?恐怕会使出席者注意力散漫了,且有会议冗长不休的感觉?因此,让自己位居听众注意力容易汇集之处,不但能够提升听众对于演讲的关注,甚至具有增强演说者信赖度权威感的效果。

2演讲应注意的几个问题

2.1演讲时的姿势

演说时的姿势(posture)也会带给听众某种印象,例如堂堂正正的印象或者畏畏缩缩的印象。虽然个人的性格与平日的习惯对此影响颇巨,不过一般而言仍有方便演讲的姿势,即所谓“轻松的姿势”。要让身体放松,反过来说就是不要过度紧张。过度的紧张不但会表现出笨拙僵硬的姿势,而且对于舌头的动作也会造成不良的影响。

诀窍之一是张开双脚与肩同宽,挺稳整个身躯。另一个诀窍是想办法扩散并减轻施加在身体上的紧张情绪。例如将一只手稍微插入口袋中,或者手触桌边、或者手握麦克风等等。

2.2演讲时的视线

在大众面前说话,亦即表示必须忍受众目睽睽的注视。当然,并非每位听众都会对你报以善意的眼光。尽管如此,你还是不可以漠视听众的眼光,避开听众的视线来说话。尤其当你走到麦克风旁边站立在大众面前的那一瞬间,来自听众的视线有时甚至会让你觉得刺痛。

克服这股视线压力的秘诀,就是一面进行演讲;一面从听众当中找寻对于自己投以善意而温柔眼光的人。并且无视于那些冷淡的眼光。此外,把自己的视线投向强烈“点头”以示首肯的人,对巩固信心来进行演说也具有效果。

2.3演讲时的脸部表情

演讲时的脸部表情无论好坏都会带给听众极其深刻的印象。紧张、疲劳、喜悦、焦虑、等情绪无不清楚地表露在脸上,这是很难藉由本人的意志来加以控制的。演讲的`内容即使再精彩,如果表情总觉缺乏自信,老是畏畏缩缩,演讲就很容易变得欠缺说服力。

控制脸部的方法,首先“不可垂头”。人一旦“垂头”就会予人“丧气”之感,而且若视线不能与听众接触,就难以吸引听众的注意。另一个方法是“缓慢说话”。说话速度一旦缓慢,情绪即可稳定,脸部表情也得以放松,再者,全身上下也能够为之泰然自若起来。

2.4有关服饰和发型

服装也会带给观众各种印象。尤其是东方男性总是喜欢穿着灰色或者蓝色系列的服装,难免给人过于刻板无趣印象。轻松的场合不妨穿着稍微花俏一点的服装来参加。不过如果是正式的场合,一般来说仍以深色西服、男士无尾晚宴服、以及燕尾服为宜。其次,发型也可塑造出各种形象来。长发和光头各自蕴含其强烈的形象,而鬓角的长短也被认为是个人喜好的表征。站出来演讲之际,你的服装、究竟带给对方何种印象?希望各位好好地思量一番。

2.5声音和腔调

3英文演讲和中文演讲的区别

我们的社会政治情况与国外不太一样。美国人从小学开始就要竞选这个、竞选那个,比如俱乐部经理、学生会主席,跟政治竞选差不多,所以他们的讲演发达,在讲演培训方面也开展得比较好。在西方国家,特别是英语国家更加重视演讲。中国在这方面滞后了一点儿,但是现在讲演的风气开始兴盛,这很是令人喜悦。随着我们对外经贸、外交关系的拓展,学英语讲英语的形势更加喜人。

那么,英文演讲和中文演讲相比有哪些区别呢?实际上一样,关键在于了解演讲对象,减少冗余信息。中文演讲和英文演讲实际上是一样的,关键是看你演讲的对象。不管是用中文还是用英文演讲,首先你要对自己的听众要有一个很好的了解。在国外讲演,讲演超过半个小时,你就要考虑这个时间是不是快到了,绝不要超过50分钟。而且应该留出一半以上的时间让听众来提问题。在中国情况就有所不同,实际上现在中国人也愿意听短话,特别是没有什么信息量的套话说法。

在讲演当中,语言文字的运用很重要。第一,语言表达纯熟清晰。第二,以对方习惯的方式、喜欢的方式来讲。第三,要有内容。当听众通过赞扬英文的办法来赞扬你时,例如观众对你说articulate,这是表示你讲得非常清晰,你听到这样的评语之后,实际上就说明你的内容已经打动了人。

适应听众思维习惯,在讲演一定要注意观众的反映。我的讲话就是半个小时,必要的时候缩短20分钟。我看大家睁着眼睛很安安静静的在听,我就多讲几句。讲话不要长,讲20分钟就可以打住了,然后让人家提问题,这个10分钟是有效的10分钟,你可以根据他们提的问题,不完全是切中这个问题放大放开讲。

学习英语也没有什么捷径可走。

一是慢慢积累,不要放弃。基础一定要打好,特别是语法的基础。在学校学的时间不长,但是基础必须非常稳固。光介词的练习就需要知道几百几千,冠词的练习,什么时候用the,什么时候不用,这些基础都非常牢固。

二是多看、多读、多模仿。英语开始就是模仿,注意外国人的表达方法。另一方面要非常注意阅读。像《新闻周刊》、《时代》等等,而且是越看不明白的东西越看。

三是要记录。写有用的短语、词句,要把它记下来,而且要注意比较外国人和中国不同的表达法。举个例子,中国人讲话的时候,谢谢大家对我的热烈欢迎,很平实的。英语国家的人讲这么一句话,“thank you for the warm hospitality that makes me feel so welcome。”意思就是“谢谢你们的好客,这个好客使我感觉到自己如此受欢迎”。假如你没有看过英文、听过英文,你绝对不能想到这么表达。所以你就要学,就要听。我们不能说我学的时候学了,自己讲得时候还照中文讲,不能这样,要用英文来思维,越是觉得有点怪怪的,越是要学的。时间久而久之,你就不会讲中式英文。

4英文演讲的要素

演讲是一门艺术,好的英文演讲比赛究竟用什么样的标准来评判?演讲要素12项就是presenting skills(演说技巧):

(1)know your topic(知道你要讲什么题目)。

(2)know your audience(了解你的听众)。

(3)know your start and stop times,as well as who else is on(知道你开始和停止的时间以及除你之外还有谁要讲话)。

(4)know what you want people to do differently and tell them(对你所说的和人们所做的有什么不同,心中要有数,并让听众知道)。

(5)make major points。(写下你的讲话要点)。

本节课是PEP3第四单元MyhomeA局部第一课时,教学内容是新授单词”study,kitchen,livingroom,bathroom,bedroom”。以和Let’sdo。

本课是词汇教学课,而所学内容又是同学日常生活中所非常熟悉的事物。因此,从同学已有的知识经验动身,我先进行一个chant,”I have a pencil,I have a ruler。”先拼读这些简单的单词。这个环节,不只通过chant活跃课堂气氛,而且通过拼读这些简单的单词,让每一位同学都有成绩感觉,激起他们的学习兴趣。从拼读book,Where is mybook?自然而然地引出书房,在不知不觉中把同学引入新知识的学习中。同时,在操练新单词时,我利用”say something to study。“来激发同学对所学新单词说一些话,防止了单调的'为学单词而学单词。这样,既有利于同学口语的表达,也在他们已学的句型中巩固新单词,让新单词在句子中闪光,这时同学各种精彩的词句也就会出现了。

整节课,我觉得自身不是地道地作为一个老师在教给同学这些单词,同时也是投入到同学当中,和他们一起学习。教师投入了,同学自然而然就被带进来了。因此,课堂气氛很好,同学学得有劲,老师也教得有劲,课堂效率就高了。

在教学过程中,在一些用言语无法表达清楚的时候,我用一些适度夸张的动作来协助同学理解,既活跃气氛,协助他们理解,同时,这些也是一些示范。在单词教学时,就渗透Let’sdo的教学,让他们说跟做结合起来,做到眼到,口到,心到。因此,一节课下来,同学精神丰满,声音响亮,掌握的情况也还可以。

通过本节课,也发现了自身在很多方面,也还有缺乏之处,如Let’sdo的时候,我是没有让同学完整地听一遍,就直接让他们做了。应该进行完整教学,让他们先完整地听一遍,一方面加强他们的听力能力,另一方面也培养同学学会倾听。在操练Let’sdo的时候,应该先进行小组合作训练,让同学先在四人小组中先一个人说指令,再叫起来示范。再则,应该把Let’sdo的操练落实到每一位同学,同学之间互相操练,这不只能给每个同学动手、动口的机会,而且还便于教师进行个别指导。

作为一个年轻的老师,还有很多地方值得我去学习去研究。我们要学会反思,做一名反思型的教师。

今天,我能在这里和大家共同交流工作体会,感到万分荣幸。

首先,我要感谢我们英语组全体组员对我的影响和帮助。虽然我是教研组长,但我们组的每个英语老师都有许多我学习的地方,比如张丽衷老师善于找记忆方法、能够调动学生的积极性,贺丽娟老师课前复习的到位,博林老师习题讲解的透彻,赵楠老师课后辅导的及时等等。

回顾自己这十五年来在教学中的点点滴滴,感觉并没有什么“经验”,有的只是自己尽职尽责的工作态度。我觉得要想取得好成绩,和平时心血的付出是成正比的。以下是自己在教学实践中的一些做法和感悟,有不当之处,请各位多批评指正。

一、建立良好的师生关系

教学中,我感受最深的是,学生在成长过程中,需要知识,更需要关爱,作为老师,除了要有精湛的业务、敬业的精神、全面的知识,更重要的是在传道授业解惑时,做到爱生如子。 “亲其师而信其道”,只有让学生喜欢你,他们才会信任你,向着你引导的方向发展。

二、狠抓课堂教学,提高课堂效率

现在正处于应试教育向素质教育转轨时期,既要求减轻负担,又要求提高教育质量,这就要求必须在课堂上下功夫,提高课堂效率,我通常注重以下几个方面:

1、认真备课。

大家都知道,备好课是上好课的前提,备课包括三方面,备教材、备学生、备教法。备教材。我总是提前翻阅各种材料、教师用书、学习资料及以往的相应试题,对于哪些是重点难点,哪些知识点扩展到什么程度,会以什么形式出题,做到心中有数。备学生,就是要了解学生的年龄特点、接受能力、知识储备情况,这样可以避免起点太高,学生听不懂,或起点太低,学生感到无聊的情况。备教法。每个学生特点各不相同,我采取适合学生的方法导入新课,用学生易于掌握的方法讲解新知,用学生感兴趣的方法组织课堂活动等等。

2、关注每个学生,提高课堂凝聚力。

讲课时,我的视线遍布每个角落,始终用眼光爱抚每个学生,学生的每个动作和眼神都逃不过我的眼睛,并且与学生进行眼神的交流,久而久之,每个学生都会感到老师一直在关注我,从而使他们集中注意力,认真听讲。

3、精讲多练,提高课堂效率。

初中生的注意力集中时间只能持续十五到二十分钟。我以前是“一张嘴,一支笔,从课首讲到课尾。”的教学模式。其实新课程理念要求我们重视学生在课堂上的主体地位,少讲多练。现在我正在努力转变思想,在今后的教学中做到精讲多练。

4、教法灵活,降低学习难度。

英语学科知识点多而杂,致使部分学生因记不住而失去兴趣。我觉得张丽衷老师就经常教学生一些顺口溜来帮助记忆,使学生轻松的掌握知识,提高兴趣。即使她编不出顺口溜,我看她也尽量使用易于记忆的`方法进行知识归纳,这些都是我要学习和正在学习的地方。

三、经常查漏补缺,及时抓弱补偏

在提高课堂效率的基础上,还要指导、督促学生搞好课外复习,防止知识的遗忘,并经常进行检查测试,多批多改,及时发现问题,解决问题。以前我并没有意识到给学生批卷纸有多必要,这学期前两单元我考了4次批了4次,我发现学生做题认真了,错的地方重视了,有的知识我觉得学生应该会,实际上有的学生并没有掌握,有利于我及时调整课堂内容。上半学期也批卷纸,那是怕完成不了张玉玲主任的任务很无奈的批,现在批卷纸批到某个题的时候也很生气,但批完之后的收效真的很大。在这里要谢谢张玉玲主任。

First I ‘d like you to think about the question: Do you bee a teacher by chance? That’s what happened to me! English was my favorite subject when I was a middle school student. I felt so cool when I won the first prize of NEPCS in 1997. After that everyone said to me:“Hey,Why not bee an English teacher?” So I did!Actually, I liked teaching very soon. I like teaching and learning with the children. Sometimes they are my students; sometimes they are my younger brothers or sisters. Sometimes they are even my fans because I can sing many pop songs in the class! But I have to say: to be an English teacher is not easy. Why? Teacher-centered controls, threats make no sense to students now! No one can be forced to learn without a desire to learn! I am so eager to find out a good way.

But what are they? Nowadays, the use of tasks is monplace. But I as well as other teachers is wondering: my syllabus is based on an old-fashioned textbook and is also exam-driven. How do I structure lessons by using tasks? Should I tell my students: “Today your task is to listen to me" or “Your?task is to finish part a on page 5".Everything is unchanged, isn’t itWhat makes Task? A unit of grammar? No! A collection of lexical items? No! After a long time study, I begin to know that task is a means of learning the language by its real use! Now, I’d like to give an actual example for you. That is Unit 5 a letter in a bottle from New Way Book 3 I had this lesson in the internet-equipped classroom. Each student has a puter .The target language includes shall, let’s do, writing letters.Word petition and on-_line exercise are the pre-tasks.

Next, three during-tasks.

Task 1:group-work. Discuss a plan about where to go during the national day, practise the target language: shall.

Task 2. Go to a teenager website to make foreign pen friends by the e-mail.

Task 3: write a letter to the students of our school to call on them to donate to Project of Hope the post task es last, Ss read English news about Wangpeng who lost his life in a hostage crisis in Pakistan, and write to Annan the U.N head to call for peace As you see, in this class, task-based method creates a student-centered learning environment and information technology plays an important part. We should try to be as flexible as possible in choosing the teaching techniques.Now, Dear friends, I would like you to think about our own task. What makes a good English teacher? Just years of little sleep, over-work? Just like the candle that burns out to help others? No! We should develop ourselves, both professionally and personally. On this day of dedication, we honor the man from Hope, Arkansas, who became the 42nd President of the United States. Mr. President, congratulations.

This presidential library chronicles a vivid era in American history, for the benefit of future generations. It will contribute to the vitality of this fine city and to the great state of Arkansas. The collections here record the dedication and hard work of thousands, who brought talent and idealism to public service. And at the center of that era, at the head of that administration, was an able and energetic American. President Bill Clinton led our country with optimism and a great affection for the American people, and that affection has been returned. He gave all to his job, and the nation gave him two terms.

In the early 1990s, the American people saw a young, well-spoken, relatively unknown governor rise to national prominence. Yet for decades here in Arkansas, the signs of destiny were clear. When young William entered a new school in the 4th grade, a classmate recalls, "He didn't mean to, but he just took the place over." When Governor Clinton declared his candidacy for President in this city, his close friends were not surprised in the least. They'd always known that Bill Clinton's moment in history would come.

Arkansas is a state that knows political skill when you see it. A fellow in Saline County was asked by his son why he liked Governor Clinton so much. He said, son, he'll look you in the eye, he'll shake your hand, he'll hold your baby, he'll pat your dog -- all at the same time.

Over the years, Bill Clinton showed himself to be much more than a good politician. His home state elected him governor in the 1970s, the 1980s, and the 1990s, because he was an innovator, a serious student of policy, and a man of great compassion. In the White House, the whole nation witnessed his brilliance and mastery of detail, his persuasive power, and his persistence. The President is not the kind to give up a fight. His staffers were known to say, "If Clinton were the Titanic, the iceberg would sink."

During his presidency, Bill Clinton seized important opportunities on issues from welfare to free trade. He was a tireless champion of peace in the Middle East. He used American power in the Balkans to confront aggression and halt ethnic cleansing. And in all his actions and decisions, the American people sensed a deep empathy for the poor and the powerless. Shortly before leaving office, President Clinton said, "Christ admonished us that our lives will be judged by how we do unto the least of our neighbors." Throughout his career, Bill Clinton has done his best to live up to that standard. And Americans respect him for it. At every stage of his remarkable life, President Clinton has made and kept countless friends, who share in the joy of this day. And three people in particular have the largest part in this remarkable story. One day more than 30 years ago, inside the Yale Law Library, a fellow student walked over to Bill Clinton and said, "If you're going to keep staring at me, and I'm going to keep staring back, we ought to at least know each other's name. Mine's Hillary Rodham. What is yours?"That was a good day for both of them, and the beginning of a partnership unique in American history. So today, we honor the former First Lady of Arkansas, the former First Lady of America, the United States Senator from New York, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Perhaps the Clintons' greatest achievement is their daughter, who moved into the White House as a young girl, and left as an accomplished young lady. It's not easy to be a teenager in the White House, but it's a lot easier when you have a loving mother and a loving father that Chelsea Clinton had.

This magnificent presidential library, and the American life it celebrates, would not have been possible without the love and sacrifice of a special lady. Among his heroes, President Clinton always includes his mother, Virginia Kelley, "a working woman and a widow." Virginia was there when her son took the oath of office, and we know that she would be incredibly proud of this day.

The story that began in a little house on Hervey Street in Hope, Arkansas is the kind of story that inspires people from every background, all over America. In this great nation, it is always possible for a child to go as far as their talent and vision can take them. Visitors to this place will be reminded of the great promise of our country, and the dreams that came true in the life of our 42nd President. The William J. Clinton Presidential Library is a gift to the future by a man who always believed in the future. And today, we thank him for loving and serving America.
