For example, medical experts have suggested thateating wild animals helped spread the terrible disease SARS. Now, our world isno longer clean and beautiful. Why? Because air, water, and noise pollution hasbecome more and more serious. Noise pollution makes us talk more loudly andbecome angry more easily. Water pollution makes our rivers and lakes very dirty.Air pollution is the most serious kind of pollution. Both air pollution andwater
pollution are not only dangerous to our health, but also dangerous toanimals and plants. We're destroying our only world. A large number of treeshave been cut down, so a lot of lands have been turned into deserts. Pollutioncan be seen everywhere! Unquestionably it is essential that we clean up ourenvironment. Sadly, we've not always appreciated the importance of protectingthe environment. On the streets, you can see cars producing smog. In thebathrooms, you can see students leaving the water tap on after using them. Notonly the young people, but also the elderly ones throw
things everywhere without thinking it's wrong, even in a beautiful park.these things are taking place every day, even in modern cities like Beijing. Wecan't do that any more. We must learn how to protect the environment. Ifeveryone is aware of protecting it instead of destroying it, the world canbecome cleaner, more beautiful, and more peaceful. The theme of Beijing 20__Olympic Games is "New Peking, New Olympic". It's the target owned by everyChinese. We should try our best to improve Beijing's environment forOlympics.
, let's begin to act! First, start with the things around you. Don't throwrubbish onto the road. Don't talk loudly when you are outdoors. Turn off thewater tap after using it. Go to school by bike or by bus instead of by privatecar. Save your pocket money and contribute to environmental protectionorganizations. Take me as an example, I take action in order to make our onlyworld full of happiness. I pick up rubbish and throw it into a trashcan. Icollect waste paper or bottles for recycling. I plant more trees and flowers,and so on. If you do all these things just like me, it means you have donesomething useful to improve the environment. We're grateful, because the emblemof the Beijing 20__ Olympic Games is a precious treasure dedicated to theOlympic Movement by the people of China. Under the guidance of the Olympicspirit, let us do a better job in all fields of our preparation and venueconstruction work in an efficient way. 你可曾见到过动物哭泣?你可曾知道它们为什么哭泣?正是因为我们不负责任的行为，让世界变得肮脏，让这些可爱的动物们哭泣不止。我们清楚的知道，如果没有了动物和植物，我们的世界将会变得多么死寂，多么灰暗但是有些人仍然固执的犯着同样的错误破坏环境，执迷不悟!
更糟糕的是，人们热衷于品尝野生动物。食用野生动物的人不知道，更不会想知道，正是这种行为导致了很多特殊问题的出现。例如：医学家已经证实，举世瞩目的SARS疾病，正是由于食用野生动物传播的。
如今，我们的世界已经不再整洁，不再美丽。为什么呢?因为空气，水和噪声等污染已经变得越来越严重了。噪声污染让我们的脾气变得极易暴躁;水污染让河流和湖泊不再清澈，大气污染让天空变得不再蔚蓝。环境污染，无处不在!
无疑，清洁我们的环境势在必行。然而可悲的是，许多人不能时刻领悟到保护环境的重要性。在街道上，你可以目睹汽车尾气四处弥漫;在洗手间，你可以目睹有人用后却不及时关闭水龙头;甚至是在环境优美的公园，有人随意的丢弃垃圾，但他们从来没有意识到这种行为是错的。
我们必须学会保护我们的环境。如果我们每个人都能伸出双手，那么我们的世界将会变得更整洁，更美丽，更和平。20__年奥运会的主题是"新北京，新奥运"，这也正是我们每个人的目标。
为了让我们的家园充满欢笑，我们必须立刻行动!从我做起，从今做起，从身边小事做起。如果你还在随意丢弃废弃物;如果你还在公共设施上随意刻画;如果你还在公共场所随地吐痰，那么请你赶快改正!我们每个人都应该为改善环境做出努力，让我们的家园变得像春天一样美丽!

尊敬的各位评委老师：
我演讲的题目是《呼唤绿色》。
每个人都希望头顶的天空湛蓝如镜、脚下的大地绿草如茵、眼前的河水清澈见底、身边的空气清新怡人。碧海蓝天，看海鸥飞翔；草长莺飞，闻鸟语花香；冰封雪飘，听松涛轰鸣。美丽的自然带来美丽的心境，美丽的心境带来了美丽的生活。
可不知从哪天起，一棵棵高大的树木被砍伐，一片片农田被毁掉，森林退化，沙尘暴扬，水土流失，洪水肆虐。污浊的洪流不停地流淌进大地的身躯河中污水滔滔，死鱼漂荡，臭气熏天。大地失去了原有的绿色，被红色、褐色、黑色的液体涂抹得面目全非。
举世闻名的长江，是中华民族灿烂文化的象征。“日出江花红胜火，春来江水绿如蓝”，那漫江碧透的长江画景，曾经以豪迈的气势在人们的心中唤起多少美好的回忆……而今天的江水已经失去了绿色，黑乎乎的污水泡沫铺满一江。如果白居易再世，畅游长江，他的诗该会写成：“一道残阳铺水中，半江乌黑半江浊”了。
现在，全球每年有600万公顷的土地沦为沙漠，20xx万公顷森林在消失，平均每小时有一种物种在灭绝。环境问题，不仅影响着经济的发展和社会的进步，甚至威胁到人类的生存。
我们不禁呼唤着大地的绿色，向往那生命的绿！
近年来，我们即墨区坚持绿色发展，一手抓“结构调整”，一手抓“清洁化改造”，严把环保这道“关”，突出绿色产业支撑，进一步削减工业废气排放，全力推进水土污染防治。一系列举措换来丰硕成果，上半年，在青岛各区市环境空气质量生态补偿考核中，即墨区的空气质量得分位居首位，大气污染改善率排名第一。现今，蓝天白云已是即墨区的“新常态”，水清岸美的河道成为城区流动的风景。漫步在即墨区的“母亲河”——墨水河畔，水鸟轻盈划过清澈水面，令依河而居的居民们仿若回到人水相亲的童年时光。
绿水青山就是金山银山！让我们以虔诚的声音呼唤生命的绿色：为了让大地山青水秀，为了让家园绿树蓝天，让我们小手拉大手，加入“呼唤绿色”行列。今天播下一份绿色种子，明天收获一片蓝天绿地！行动起来，从我开始！行动起来，从现在开始！谢谢！
