It's a great honor for me to stand here to deliver a speech to you. Then today I want to talk something about dreams and reality.
As the famous Russian litterateur Lev Tolstoy said, “Ideal is the beacon. Without ideal, there is no secure direction; without a direction, there is no life.” So there’s no doubt that everyone needs his or her own ideal. Have you ever thought that what is practical and sensible will connect with our most treasured dreams? Maybe, to somebody, reality has little relation to ideal. There was a young herdsman who wanted very much to marry, and was acquaintedwith three sisters. One day, he saw a plastic bag in the lobby of his block. It was full of dog food.
“Whose bag is this?” Larry thought. ”Mrs Lee has dog, perhaps it’s hers”。
Larry took the bag upstairs to Mrs Lee’s flat. He asked Mrs Lee if the bag was hers. She said no. So he went to Mr and Mrs Wong’s flat. He asked them about the bag. Mr and Mrs Wong said it wasn’t their’s. So asked three more families, but he still couldn’t find the owner of the bag.
