Im Lai Senhan from the University of International Business Economics. Do you know what date is it today? Today is the Olympic Date. Im so glad to stand here today to share my idea about Beijing Olympic Games together with you all. The title of my speech is: what can we do for Beijing Olympic Games?
First of all, let me tell you a story that happened 2 years ago. At the end of August, 20xx, when I decided to come to Beijing for study, my friends helrewell Party for me. They said: after your graduation, you should look for a job in Beijing, and then in 20xx, we shall go to visit you during the Olympic Games. I laughed and answered: OK, no problem!
Time flied and 2 years passed. Now I am a graduate. My teachers and classmates always ask me: whats your plan after your graduation? Go back home, stay in Beijing, or go to some other places? And I always answer: I will stay in Beijing. I make this decision not because of my promise to my friends 2 years ago, but because: Ive fallen in love with Beijing! Im eager to welcome the coming Olympic Games together with my fellow countrymen, and I wish I could do something for the Olympics for the city.
As we know, Beijing will host the 29th Summer Olympic Games in 20xx. As a Chinese, I think many people are thinking: what we can do for Beijing Olympic Games. Most of us are not athletes, we cannot take part in competitions directly; we are not officials either, we dont need to do the preparatory work. We are only ordinary people, what we can do!
There are still so many things we can do! For example, for me, I am a graduate majoring Business English. As far as I am concerned, I will keep on learning English hard, and apply for being a volunteer. I will use English to serve the Games together with other volunteers. And also, as a businessman at that time, I will avail myself of the great commercial opportunities that the Olympics brings to us, make more efforts to offer my contribution to the growth of our national economy.
And for all of us, with the goal to host a "Green Olympics", we shall plant more trees, grass flowers. Dont waste water. In order to alleviate the problems of air pollution traffic congestions, we shall take buses subways more. With the goal to host a "Peoples Olympics", and in order to make our Olympics more attractive and to make our Beijing more beautiful, we shall help everyone we meet who needs help, we shall abide by traffic rules, dont smoke in public and no spitting. The most important way for our Chinese to support our Beijing Olympic Games, in my opinion, is to work hard on our duties.

We’ve got a chain that takes a great idea all the way through. We must be confirmed that, today, the challenges we face are real.
They are serious they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But we will somehow find a way to overe the difficulties. My major is XXX. My job is to discover or create new drugs for many diseases like cancer. You know that laboratory is the place where miracles happen. Believe it or not. What I do can save millions of people’s lives. For a long time, what challenges me is how to mercialize research. You e up with a great idea, but moving that new discoveryfromtheory to practice orfromthe lab to the marketplace, that's re ally a big job. That’s what we should focus on.
We need to act with a sense of urgency-to study and work and create as if the fate of the country depends on us-because it does. It depends on us. Thank you!

I love English
When I was seven, I started learning English. I played games and sang English songs with other children. Sometimes, I watched English cartoons. It's funny. Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.
I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington, because my cousin is over there. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge University, I will be very happy.
I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. Also I'll introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, and the gardens in Suzhou. I will teaching people of the world about the beautiful language of our country.

怎样帮助孩子学好英语呢？家长和教师如何共同帮助孩子学习成长呢？老师自然是最直接的知识传授者，有着不可推卸的责任，但是家庭教育至关重要，你重视了，你付出了，孩子们自然会学有所成，你松懈了，你不管了，孩子的学习自然搞不好，在此，我呼吁我们的家长多配合学校，多配合老师，靠我们共同的努力来帮助孩子学好英语，和孩子共同成长、共同进步。
我认为，英语学习并不难，难就在于没有一个好的家庭教育环境，没有养成好的学习习惯。我们要在以下几个方面加强对孩子的学习教育。
一、要给孩子们营造宽松的学习环境。
一是学校的学习环境。我们老师在英语教学过程中，尊重每个学生，保护他们的自尊心和积极性。创造各种合作学习的活动，促进学生互相学习，互相帮助，体验成就感，发展合作精神；关注学习有困难的或性格内向的学习，尽可能地为他们创造语言的机会；建立融洽、民主的师生交流渠道，经常和学生一起反思学习过程和学习效果，互相鼓励和帮助，做到教学相关；加强对学生学习策略的指导；引导学生在学习过程中，进行自我评价，并根据需要调整自己的学习目标和学习策略。孩子们在学的轻松，学习的主动性、自觉性不断提高，我们给学生营造了宽松的学习环境。
二是家庭的学习环境。每位家长一定要关注孩子们的学习，多鼓励，多给孩子们营造宽松的家庭学习环境，不能不管不顾，放任自流，不能无原则打骂孩子，要针对孩子们的学习表现，多和学校老师沟通，多和孩子们沟通，共同帮助孩子改正缺点，树立信心，培养孩子们学习兴趣。
二、要重视孩子们良好学习习惯的养成
1、让孩子多听、多想
首先是加强听力训练和说话训练，然后才是读写能力的培养。听说能力差，用英语进行交际的能力差，为此，家长一定要配合学校来要求孩子，要创造条件让孩子多听，多听纯正的录音，听几遍、听清楚了以后，跟着说，从小培养孩子的听觉，为将来打好基础。
2、让孩子多说、多练
家长要每天让孩子多读英语、多多练习说话，要鼓励孩子大声地朗读、对话、问答，大声说，不害羞，这样有利于清楚地表达自己，培养信心，能力，敢说、多练才会学好英语。
3、让孩子熟练背诵课文和单词背诵
这是一项基本功，可以积累一些日常用语，到用的时等候就可以脱口而出。但是在背诵过程中要讲究方法，不可操之过急，要注意分散和集中相结合。我们一般是分段教课文，那就可以请学生分段背课文。等快教完的时候，再把课文串起来背，这样可以降低一点难度，让学生背得轻松些。但是在检查过程中，我们发现有一些学生背得相当熟练，可问他课文中的某个词组或句子的意思时，他却一问三不知。所以，我们在背诵过程中要注意上下文的理解，在理解的基础上达到背诵的要求，课文中涉及到的相关词组和句型，要让学生熟记，并能用它们来造句、说话。在具体的实施过程中发现：有些学生根本不用心学，能偷懒则偷懒，很多家长比较负责会查问有没有教新课，要不要默写，但孩子不老实，欺骗家长。这时候，你应该及时跟老师联系，做好沟通，让孩子知道：欺骗不是办法，也会受到相应的惩罚。
单词亦是如此，分散记忆、根据读音记忆单词都是可取的方法。有时，我们回家布置抄写单词，其目的不在于抄，而在于提醒学生记忆这些单词。但是在日常学习中，学生不重视这项作业，认为只是抄抄而已，不做也没什么关系，其实他连抄写都不做，根本别说是去背了，结果几次下来，他应付不过来，学习处于被动状态，从而影响了以后的学习，出现退步现象。因此，请大家在家里督促孩子保质保量地完成英语作业，该读的读、该说的说、该写的写、该记的记，及时巩固，养成良好的习惯。父母亲的良好榜样起着很大作用。孩子一般还没有明确的学习目的，这时，父母亲对学习的态度，特别是行为，会极大地影响孩子。你要让你的孩子知道，要善于学习，勤于学习，要多掌握知识，为了明天的成就，把握好今天的学习。

作为一名英语教师，我认为我对这三个班的孩子是尽心尽责的。我每天早来晚走，一心扑在这三个班的英语教学上。三个班的好几套作业，《同步练》，《一课一练》，《活动手册》，作业本，练习本等等我都认真的进行批改。有的时候还要带回家改。但是结果却不是那么的尽如人意。我分析后发现问题主要出在孩子的学习方法和学习习惯上。我发现学(本站推荐)习成绩好的孩子，他们都有好的学习习惯和学习方法。
好的听课习惯。课堂是教学最重要的环节，紧紧抓住40分钟比课后补四个小时都有用。课堂上应该要集中注意力，跟着老师走。这样不会漏掉任何一个知识点，才会学得全面。我发现有的同学在课堂上始终能保持注意力的集中，有的则是只能集中一段时间，还有一小部分是几乎没有多少时间是集中注意力的，手在下面动不停，老师点名的时候好一些，一转脸又不知道在干什么了。上课不听怎么可能学好英语呢？
学习英语主要就是操练句子，要说英语，学了要能说出来才是会了。课堂上我们留有大量的时间让孩子们朗读，表演。所以在英语课上积极发言就显得更加重要。我问那些不爱发言的孩子为什么不举手，他们说害怕错。我都是跟他们说：“即使错了也没关系，这样可以让老师发现你的问题在哪里并及时纠正。”作为家长也应该这样去鼓励他们，要他们抓住每次发言的机会。
作业是课堂教学的补充和巩固，作业完成质量的好坏直接关系到知识掌握的牢固程度。好的作业完成习惯包括按时完成作业和按时交作业，按老师的要求认真的，字迹清晰的正确的完成作业。虽然只有这几点，但真正做到也不是那么容易。特别他们还是孩子，孩子总有不自觉和管不住自己的时候，所以家长应该在这方面多下点工夫。对于做作业习惯较好的学生，家长只需要在他完成作业之后检查一下就可以了。但对于习惯相对较差的孩子来说，作为家长你可能就要多花点时间陪着他写了。我们也能理解家长工作的繁忙，但是对于你们来说最重要的是孩子的教育问题，孩子的成材才是你们作为家长真正的成功！
这学期，我希望我们老师和家长能相互配合、共同努力。让孩子养成良好的学习习惯，提高他的英语成绩。我希望家长做到的是，每天根据孩子的英语作业进行检查是否完成，完成的质量如何。
我们每天的英语作业都不是很多，一般在半小时内就能完成，有的孩子还是不能完成。家长说语文数学作业太多了，没有时间写。我想问语文数学作业多难道就不用写英语作业了吗？英语还是要学的。所以家长可以帮孩子想想办法，可以适当的改变一下做作业的顺序，可以先做英语啊！

As president of English Club, I organized the rehearsal of Snow White for an English party. Unfortunately, we could not find an actor to be the last dwarf. It had to be someone who was humorous by nature and fluent in English. Suddenly, all eyes turned to me, and I knew I would have to be the dwarf. To my great surprise and delight, once on stage, I was totally absorbed in the performance and my humorous nature was put to full use. As the dwarf, I was a big hit.
