这不，和以往一样，新学期总要包书皮。以前，妈妈总是帮着我包所有的书皮。可是，当今天我看着妈妈包书皮时那副利落样，不禁手痒痒。
“妈妈，就留下一本让我包呗，我都六年级了，竟连包书皮也不会，要是被人说出来，岂不成了笑话？”我费了半天口舌，终于把妈妈给说服了。
于是我拿起剩下的数学课作本，将裁定好的牛皮纸放在上面看大小。“哈，刚好！”下一步，我将多余的牛皮纸折进书本的`第一页和最后一页，将其余部分裁剪掉。
“妈妈，这样就可以了吗？”妈妈看了看，禁不住皱眉道：“啊呀，我说你啊……你折进去的部分是不是要粘好？不然书皮要脱离书本的。”说着她就比画了一下。哦，对！我怎么就没想到呢？于是我拿起双面㬵；想要贴，“等一下，你要先这样。”只见妈妈娴熟地将书的封面，底面轻轻地折了一下，然后告诉我如果直接贴，等到书合上，就折不平了。原来如此啊，我敬佩地问妈妈：“妈妈，你怎么知道这么多！包书皮也有决窍吗？”妈妈只说等我长大了，自然就会知道了，可是我已经不小了呀！长大，长大，到底要等多久，我才算真正长大了呀！
书皮包好了，这段难忘的经历差点闹成笑话，不过我一直将妈妈的话记在心上，渴望有一天也能“破茧成蝶”。
Nowadays more and more people be ridden for so much diafferent questions.It makes them usually had a bad frame of mind,they think of it,they worrided it ,they carried it...But no one can learn to oblivion. In our life we also had something bad something good,everyone can forget those good things but those bad things allways makes them had a profound meomery. These things usually effect their life.

In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education.
Second, much more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy into practice, because more people means more people means more pollution.
Finally, those who destroy the environment intentionally should be severely punished. We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.
now we are facing two problems of global warming and a shortage of natural resources, both of which are getting more and more serious day by day. thus, it is important for us to promote a low-carbon lifestyle.
low-carbon lifestyle covers many aspect of our life like transportation, traveling, home-heating, and so on. in order to promote a low-carbon life, some plans must be carried out as follows. firstly, don’t waste any electricity and water. remember to turn off the lights and water taps unless we use them. secondly, we had better take the subways or bus to work, so as to reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide. thirdly, we should use cloth bags for shopping instead of plastic bags, and use recyclable bowls and chopsticks instead of disposable ones, for it can not only save resources, but also reduce pollution. what’s more, it is of great significance to plant more trees, since trees can balance the carbon dioxide emissions.
in a word, if we live a low-carbon life from now on, we will have a better environment and more resources left for our descendants.
As the song goes “ My hope isn’t a dream .” I love the song which brings me confidence when singing it every time . I believe that all our dreams can come true if we have courage to pursue them .When I was young my father always asked me what I would be in the future . Sometimes I found it very hard to give a certain reply . “ I want to be a doctor .” “ I want to be a teacher .” and “ I ’d like to be a scientist !” Many of these answers are perhaps very childish and ridiculous . But I never think they are far away .
How time flies! Who is able to give a definition to his future ? I know clearly that those high buildings are based on solid foundation . As a student , I should have a reasonable aim , and study hard . My goal is to enter the best university for further study after middle school . I know it’s hard work , and I ’ll come across many difficulties and frustrations . But no matter what they are , I’ll keep working on it and never give up . One day, I was surfing on the internet, my parents showed their disapproval to me.

Newspapers and websites are two major new media in the world today, both of which can provide us with lots of news and information. But they’re different in some ways.
Newspapers enjoy a longer history and often come out daily with more reliable news and information. They can be carried and read almost anywhere you like. So many people like reading them. But they can only contain texts and photos.
On the other hand, websites are quite new and popular, especially among young people. Websites have not only texts with pictures but also audios and videos, which makes stories more interesting. What’s more, they are updated from time to time. So the latest news is always seen on websites instead of in newspapers. Australia is one of the famous Oceanian country. The country is famous for its wool production and seashore tour. As the climate there is warm and comfortable, many people spend vocations there every year. I’m a super fan of water entertainment, so I choose it as my destination.

Then Melbourne is a good choice to be as the next step. In Melbourne, skin screen is a must to take with as the sunshine is upset and may burn your skin. Once in a while,i'd think back on the things of past one year.Lucky and excited,i was admitted into this school which is the best high school in our city.I thought it could give me great stimulation to achieve the dream in my heart.However,when i was on the point of facing difficulties,i seemed so weak on the way to success.I gradully lost interest in studying.The stimulation had gotten out of my system and wasn't in control of my mental.I began being absent-minded in most of classes.Playing cellphone became my foolish fault.Finally i delayed my studies.How could i account for my low scores?The answer might be:I was wrong all the way.
But now it's a new start for me.I've made up my mind to be on the right way.I must attach study to me and my future.In a way,i want to apologize to many people who think highly of me for my fault.From now on,i'll never hesitate to strive for my future,although many things may add to my laziness.

i think avoiding to do many things is not the way to protect the envirnment,the point is not the thing we can't do,but is the thing we shuld do,we are human beings, and we are different form the other animals,we should relay on our telegent and brave.
here i think there are two effecient ways to protect the enviroment, and first one if the development of the technology, the knowlodge is power, it always makes us to get twice acheivement with half effort,for example, an typical pollution plastic package, many places forbid to use the plastic pakage,in fact the plastic package is very good,it has many advantage, low cost ,durable,convenient. the issue is we can't break down it, with the development of technology, one day it will be wildly used, but now what we can do is to use other things to instead it. we usually call for to save the resorces, but in my opinion the resorce is just like the money, if you want more money, you have to earn, but not to save. so the best way is to use the present resorce to discover the new and powrful resorce,we call it sustanibol development.
the other aspect of the protection is advocating everyone to join the group, to make every one realize the importance of protecting the enviroment, the more people ,the more power,thus, you can image if everyone has the habit to improve our enviroment,who make the pollution, if you want the enviroment better,now make you contribution and make your choice!

I'm worried about my country.

For our students， marks is above everything. Teachers will judge us fromour marks. With marks we can be enrolled into junior middle schools. With marks，we can be enrolled into senior middle schools. However， I think marks are the sole standard to judge the success orfailure of students in exams. Sometimes， marks more than ten or less than one ortwo in our exams comparing with others mean not everything. The success orfailure in exams will be influenced by experience on the spot and the examinee’shealth etc. Once in a while one cannot fail in exams. " Success or failure iscommon sense for military. But his teaching result is much lessthan that of the one who just graduated from a not-well-renowned college. Whenlecturing， the teacher only repeated what the text-books says， which was verydull so the his students’ interest in learning was not aroused. His teaching wasshort of unity of teaching and learning. At present there is a fact that we knowa few brilliant and top college graduates are not qualified for their posts. To sum up from the above， I can say marks are not absolutely authoritativefor some. If we neglect training and developing the students’ ability andcompetence and if we only seek for the high marks， we will be absolutely wrong.We should take an objective attitude towards the marks. Neither should weneglect them nor should we overvalue them like a God.

Title of my speech today is: water conservation, from the start bit. Students may think, a drop of water is insignificant.
