Today, the title of my speech is A Lesson from Nature.
Around us , there are plants, animals and many other things. We live in nature, so to keep the balance of nature is very important for us. But today, too many trees are still being cut down in many countries and flood all over the world are getting more and more serious, A lot of land has gone with them. This is a lesson from nature.
When people move into a new place, they often cut down trees or pull out many wild plants to make farmland. They don’t know that trees can stop flood and wind from washing or blowing the earth away, and that many of these wild plants are food for some wild animals. If the animals can’t find enough plants to eat, they will die or have to leave the place.
In one part of the United States, for example, the deer there like to eat a kind of wild flowers. The mountain tigers there eat the deer. But people killed many mountain tigers to protect the deer. soon there were so many deer that the ate up all the wild flowers. Then the deer began to eat the green leaves of the young trees .so the farmers thought of ways to protect their trees, then the deer had nothing to eat and many of them died.
The number of trees, deer, tigers, wild flowers and plants has changed much—less and less. We need to do more to keep the balance of nature.

We can see three lines that show how our er and life is. I have a short line of life. What about yours? I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well letR23;s make a fist. where is our future? where is our love career and life? Tell it is in our hands. It is held in ourselves.
Dining safty has long been a major concern of human race, so, how can we assure that we are dinning safely?
As the basic element of dining safty, source of the food is perhaps the most essential issue that we should focus upon, if the raw metrial itself can cause negative effects to the human body, nothing can be done to put it right.
Kitchen hygiene will pehaps be another element that should be taken into consideration, including water source, type of cooking oil,quality of spicery used and blending of cooking material.
To sum up, we have a lot to do to ensure dining safty
One of the most popular sentences online states that “remember...always act like you ‘re wearing an invisible crown.”What the saying indicates is the importance of confidence，an attitude that we should take toward our life.
It’s generally accepted that confidence plays a very vital role in one’s life. But do you really know what dose self-confidence mean? Well，it means that you have strong belief that you can do things and you will succeed in the end. If you want to do something well，you must have faith in yourself. Just like the old saying goes，confidence in yourself is the first step on the road to success. Otherwise，you may hardly to do anything right. Some people love to complain how incapable they are or how difficult their tasks are，they never think about the problem in themselves，which is lack of confidence. If they fail，they will refuse to have another try. Then they will never ever have the chance to overcome difficulties.
May be destined to a person's character，it is not easy to change. But if everyone into confident on their own elements，their life will become more colorful，more open. You may ask why you are confident? I think: confidence + opportunity = success. So self-confidence is indispensable auxiliary conditions. Everyone thinks oneself from birth，fate dominate everything，all want to follow the path of destiny. If you have such idea，may be you are wrong. Destiny is master in your hand，opportunity is in your side. The you find place，it did not work. Don't let the chance to run out in front of you，the first to catch the opportunities，of course. However，get the opportunities，of course，is a good thing. But people have the opportunity to don't you will achieve success. Some people often suffer from failure tripping，overwhelm be heavy setbacks，let these people thought he was a mediocre person，chance on them. Success will become very slim. So have the opportunity is important，the most important thing is that you have confidence. Even if you get upset about my setbacks，as long as you have a good mood，have full confidence in myself. Believe that failure and frustration on you again，can also be solved. So self-confidence is very important for a person，even if you don't have too much talent，have the confidence you have into a big step away from success than others. Albert Einstein said，confidence is to take the first step to success. So people should have confidence，also need confidence in life.

Homemade Ship
Hans Andersen, a life-long fisherman, had a dream. He wanted to sail around the world. And he did it. He got several sponsors who subsidized his trip. He bought a beautiful 40-foot yacht, with all the latest technical and safety gear, and had a pleasant voyage. Well, except for almost sinking while going around the tips of South America and Africa.
The voyage went so smoothly that, looking back on it, he felt it was too easy. He needed a new challenge. He decided to build his own boat. But that was nothing new. Several people had built their own boats and sailed them around the world. No, he needed a unique boat. Watching TV commercials one day, he got it—ice cream sticks! He would be the first man to sail around the world in a boat built exclusively of ice cream sticks.
He put out the word. Within three years, school children from all over Holland had sent Hans 15 million ice cream sticks. He used these sticks to build a 45-foot replica of a Viking ship. After all the sticks were glued together, Hans took his new boat out to sea on a one-week voyage. “It’s magnificent, and totally sea-worthy,” he proclaimed.
He plans to set sail in early 20xx with a crew of two. He will sail across the Atlantic to Canada, and then down to Florida and through the Panama Canal. Then he’ll travel to Los Angeles, Honolulu, Tokyo, around the tip of Africa, and back to Holland. “If this trip succeeds,” he joked, “my next goal will be to build a plane out of ice cream sticks and fly it around the world!”

five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of captivity.
but one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the negro is still not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languishing in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. so we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition.
in a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check which has come back marked "insufficient funds." but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.
so we have come to cash this check -- a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of god's children. now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.

When I was seven, I started learning English. I played games and sang English songs with other children. Sometimes, I watched English cartoons. It's funny. Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.
I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington, because my cousin is over there. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge University, I will be very happy.
I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. Also I'll introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, and the gardens in Suzhou. I will teaching people of the world about the beautiful language of our country.
I like the English language. To learn English is wonderful. I once wanted to be an English teacher . I also like Chinese literature. When I was really young, I was able to remember lots of poems. I also wanted to be a teacher of Chinese. Now I think that both of my dreams can come true: I will be able to use English to teach foreign friends Chinese and share Chinese culture with them. So that more and more people will be able to get to know the 5000 years' history culture, and the prosperity of our great China.

my name is li wenwen.i’m fourteen years old.in class 8,grade 1.different people has different dreams. someone wants to be a doctor. someone wants to be a basketball player，because he is good at sports. someone wants to be a writer， because he likes writing. someone wants to be a teacher because he likes teaching children.
what do i want to do when i’m older?
you see,i like playing the piano and i am good at it. so i want to become a piano player.(pianist). playing the piano is very interesting. and you can learn something of music. piano can make your life beautiful and happy. your life is full of music. a lot of musicians and singers love playing the pianos.
i could play the piano when i was ten years old. all of my teachers and my classmates say i can play the piano very well. i have got grand five . i hope when i’m sixteen years old , i can get grand eight.

I have thrown this party, because I wanted to thank you all for being kind to me while I have been ing back, it seems like a very short five years living here and working together with you. My wife and I still remember the first day we arrived in Los Angeles, and every thing looked so huge, compared with things in Taipei. The first several months were a difficult time, but we tried very hard to adapt ourselves to the new environment, new life style, and a new place of work.

Ladies and Gentlemen:Stepping into the new century environment pollution has become more serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as water pollution air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on a planet which is full of pollution. where all these pollution comes from？To a large extend the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have more fuel people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for energy are hardly to meet. Countless private cars on the street the gas stations are short of gasoline even the government has raise the price so many times in order to control the needs of gasoline but it’s still not working. Overusing the natural resources has already affected the ecological balance. However the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted water into the rivers. People still lack of the conscious of protecting the environment. I think it’s time for all of us to do something.
The government should put forward some more strict laws to prevent the environment from being further polluted. And they should let people know more about the importance of environment protection. And we should find the balance between the economic growth and environmental protection. Plant more trees in the deserts and stop cutting down the forest. Forbid the factories to pour the waste water into the rivers directly. Encourage people to use public transportations to work. Both government and ordinary people should join hands together to make our home clean and fresh again. Only in this way our earth could be a better place to live in.Thank you.
You know, you know, we started this great effort on a sunny july morning in pinders corner on pat and liz moynihan's beautiful farm and 62 counties, 16 months, 3 debates, 2 opponents, and 6 black pantsuits later, because of you, here we are.
You came out and said that issues and ideals matter, jobs matter, downstate and upstate, health care matters, education matters, the environment matters, social security matters, a woman's right to choose matters. it all matters and i just want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you, new york!
Thank you for opening up your minds and your hearts, for seeing the possibility of what we could do together for our children and for our future here in this state and in our nation. i am profoundly grateful to all of you for giving me the chance to serve you.
I will - i will do everything i can to be worthy of your faith and trust and to honor the powerful example of senator daniel patrick moynihan. i would like all of you and the countless new yorkers and americans watching to join me in honoring him for his incredible half century of service to new york and our nation. senator moynihan, on behalf of new york and america, thank you.

And how fortunate we are indeed to live in the most diverse, dynamic and beautiful state in the entire union. you know, from the south bronx to the southern tier, from brooklyn to buffalo, from montauk to massena, from the world's tallest skyscrapers to breathtaking mountain ranges, i've met people whose faces and stories i will never forget. thousands of new yorkers from all 62 counties welcomed to me into your schools, your local diners, your factory floors, your living rooms and front porches. you taught me, you tested me and you shared with me your challenges and concerns - about overcrowded or crumbling schools, about the struggle to care for growing children and aging parents, about the continuing challenge of providing equal opportunity for all and about children moving away from their home towns because good jobs are so hard to find in upstate new york. now i've worked on issues like these for a long time, some of them for 30 years, and i am determined to make a difference for all of you.
You see, i believe our nation owes every responsible citizen and every responsible family the tools that they need to make the most of their own lives. that's the basic bargain. i'll do my best to honor in the united states senate.
And to those of you who did not support me, i want you to know that i will work in the senate for you and for all new yorkers. and to those of you who worked so hard and never lost faith even in the toughest times, i offer you my undying gratitude.
