when i was young, i used to be very naughty. life then was like a glaball ,shining with bright colours. i had once gone down to the river bank, catching a great many worms and was afterwards punished by mum. i had ever cut the pillow towel into pieces in order to make clothes for my dolls. similarly, i was then blamed seriously. once i even put the hot iron on the floor which immediately burnt a big hole on the carpet. although i had done so many annoying things, my childhood seemed to be rather colourful. however, i had never had a clear definition about myself. but then something happened. it had made a great difference to my life and made who i am now.
i had always been afraid of having the intravenous drop in hospital. the first time i was taken to have the drop, i cried for almost half an hour and finally gave off at father's severe scolding. watching the cold needle stabbing into my skin, i cried even more loudly. at that time, i never dared to take a glance at my hand and always needed my mother to stay with me at my side. even if mum had told me many times," honey, there’s nothing to be scared of. just close your eyes and sleep." i would still keep my eyes wide open, watching the liquid flow through the bottle and never slept.
nevertheless, things just happened in a casual way. when i caught a high fever again when young, mum had to send for the doctor home to treat me. i was so sick that i became quite drowsy and then slept. when i suddenly woke up in the afternoon, i found the liquid in the bottle had already flown over ,while mum and dad were not around. i yelled, but finally found it was of no use. so i jumped out of the bed and pulled up the tubule. in the nature of things, the blood came out and dropped along the way i went downstairs. things became different at the time i went down alone. i discovered that i could be independent. i was much stronger than i had thought. looking back on the girl who cried all day, i came to understand suddenly that the strong part of the inner myself had been existing all the time. seeing the anxious mum, i revealed a big smile to her. i could see that mum was trying to hold her tears back and scrubbed my blood on the hand. she didn't know that her little girl had stealthily grown up.
since then, i became stronger. as you see now, standing in front of you is a confident and sunny girl. in my grown-up life, i've never cried for being injured no matter how serious it is. i can even go to the hospital alone when mum and dad are on business. i came acroso many difficulties in life, while i've never thought of giving up. thanks to that extraordinary experience at my age of ten, i discovered a person inside myself who has been so important and unique to me. just like what dad had told me before, "people are like tea bags—you have to put them in hot water before you know how strong they are."

I love English. English language is now used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.
When I was seven, my mother sent me to an English school. At there, I played games and sang English songs with other children . Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.
Everyday, I read English following the tapes. Sometimes, I watch English cartoons.
On the weekend, I often go to the English corner. By talking with different people there, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English.
I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington Monument, because the president Washington is my idol. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university, I will be very happy.
I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. I'll introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and Anshan.

I don't think so. printed books won't be abandoned in such a short time. I admit that new technology is developing fast. Many advanced electronic products are gradually take the place of traditional tools. Just like in university, teachers like to use multimedia in class for it is quite convenient and efficient. However, for our student, it is not realistic to study completely by electronic products. There are many things need to recorded on books. Books are something meaningful and practical. I should say, in our country, printed books wouldn't be abandoned within 20 years at least for two reasons. Firstly, books are classical container of knowledge. They accompany human to advance. A student without books could be someway ridiculous.

they are very special.the most interesting place was the zoo inside.there are many animals,such as,tigers,elephants,zebras and monkeys.

When I was a naughty boy, may be because of the influence of the film.Xiao Bing ZhangGa,my dream was to be a soldier just like Zhang Ga. I thought if I was a soldier, I should beable to swim, dive and climb trees as he did. It seemed to be very wonderful. So I began tolearn swimming, diving and climbing trees. I practiced every day and finally I could do them well.But when I entered junior high school and had the military training. I suddenly found thatbeing a soldier was very difficult and I wasnt strong enough to bear it . I had to give mydream up.
But I wasnt discouraged, and I had new aim, which was to be a postman, or rather to bea newspaper boy. As a newspaper boy. I could speed along streets on a bike and thrownewspapers onto every porch. Thats also very cool. So I started learning to ride a bicycle.After the everyday practice, I could go very fast by bicycle. But to my disappointment, the jobwhich I wanted only existed in western counties not in China, because there was no porch inChina. And Chinese postmen had to stuff very thick newspapers into very small mailboxes fromvery narrow entrances. The job was far from what I had expected. So once again my dream fellthrough.

My favorite class is gym.I can't wait for PE.It's really fun,fun,fun.
I love to get out of class.I need a break from books.It fells great to move around.We all look forward to it.It's a chance to unwind.It's like an escape to freedom.
We have gym twice a week.We wear T-shirts and shorts.We play both inside and out.PE starts off with exercise.
We stretch,bend and twist.It's always important to warm up.We do jumping jacks.We do push-ups and sit-ups.then we jog around the track.
Finally,the real fun begins.We divide into teams.We play sports and compete.I like basketball and dodge ball.
I enjoy badminton and ping-pong,too.Soccer is the most exciting to me.Win or lose,it's OK.There's no pressure at all.
