现在保护环境越来越受到了人们的重视。可是，我发现我们校园还有许多不文明现象。我在校园看见有人随地吐痰、有人随手扔垃圾，还有人破坏树木，折断花枝。这些不文明的行为，对世界有多大的危害呀!如果大家都吐了痰，都随手扔垃圾，马路上该多脏呀!如果没有树木、花草，我们的地球还能住吗?所以，保护环境，要从我们身边的每一件小事做起。

Our environment is very important for our lives . We need the fresh air,the clean water and so on . In the past, there were many trees around us ,theair was fresh and the river was clean.But now,people cut down many trees. Airpollution and water polloution are very serious . The environment around usbecomes very terrible . We should protect our environment. First, we shouldplant many trees to keep water. Second , we can ride a bike or walk to theschool and work.. Third , we shouldn’t throw the dirty water into the river .Fourth, we shouldn’t use the plastic bags. Finally, we can ask more people tojoin us.
No one，regardless of race, religion or nationality, can deny that the worldwe live in is becoming increasingly intolerable because of the effects of globalwarming. According to many experts, even greater impacts are still on theway.
There are numerous causes for this problem. On one hand, human-relatedemissions of carbon into the atmosphere is causing, and will in the futurecause, significant global warming according to the theory. On the other hand,the lack of knowledge about the importance of protecting environment hinders thesolving of the problem.
It is urgent that immediate and effective actions should be taken rightaway. First, more trees need to be planted to help improve and beautify theenvironment. Besides, stricter laws concerning global warming and irresponsibleuse of fuel resources have to be put into effect and achieved good results. In aword, there is a long way to go before we can take a comfortable world forgranted again .
Many people are active in fighting against unfair treatment to coloredpeople, women , animals and so on. Right now I am talking about fighting forrespect to our environment.Though the environment doesn't have a mouth done todeprecate what humans have done to her, she retaliates through action. In theearly years the Chinese cut down large quantities of trees, at the source of theyellow river, which led to the disappearance of big forests and terrible floods.As a result, the Huangtu plateau which once was once covered with grass andforests was turned into barrens that supported fewer plants. Another example wasin several developed countries.
Because many chemical factories discharged poisonous gas without filteringit, poisonous cities were covered with so much poisonous gas that people werekilled by the air they breathed in. What horrible scene!What we are suffering isonly a small part of what the nature once suffered. If we don't take action toshow respect to the environment, we will have to face an increasingly awfulsituation. Measures should be taken to protect the environment on which we arerelying. First governments should forbid destroying vegetation, rivers andlakes, oceans, as and the atmosphere as well. Second voices should be made toannounce the public of the importance of protecting the environment. Thirdenterprises should pay special attention to the effect they have on theenvironment and work out solutions for the problems. Only by changing the way wetreat the environment can along we get along well with it.
Only by saving the environment can we save ourselves.
