四，对下半期工作的设想。
首先，我想用一句话来概括半期考试。“以不变应万变”。纵观前几次单元测验，形式和内容都有很大的创新和变化，测验内容不仅仅局限于本单元或本册，而是以横向和纵向的形式覆盖了所有的教学内容，教师和学生在适应过程中，虽然有方法上的变化，但总体说来更加强化了基础知识的理解和运用。教会学生的解题技巧和方法。使其理解“万变不离其中”的道理。以不变的扎实学习来适应灵活的考察手段。如，六年级试卷中F题，考察的是疑问词“where，who，what，how，howmany，whose”的用法，老师就要教会孩子从问题入手，抓关键词的做法来解题，涉及到人名要用什么提问，涉及到地名又用什么提问。这样一来，孩子比较易于掌握。考试后，我们采取集体阅卷，流水作业的模式，体现的测验的公平，公正，每位教师都认真填写了质量分析，找出不足，加以改善。
二是校级课题研究让我体会到“挫折也很美丽”。开学初，经全体老师商量，决定把这次校级课题的切入点定为我们一直困惑和解决的问题“阅读教学”所以“阅读教学中学生活动的有效性”课题应运而生，田纳老师为此献课一节，试讲后，由于思考的角度发生偏差，种种问题就暴露在大家面前。周围的质疑让我们坐立不安，下来后组内讨论的气氛异常严肃。归根结底，课题的实践性和可操作性没有达到预期效果。商量后，我们把课题修改为“在课堂学习中学生阅读活动的有效性”这样，课题的切入点细化到了学生活动中的阅读方面，田老师也根据新课题献课两节，陈凤老师也献课一节。在十一月初，我们组还就课题进行了一系列的培训和教研，并学习了成都市成华区双水小学尹宏老师的一节课，大家都收获颇丰。上周，我和蔡老师也应邀参加了在武汉举行的“第四届全国小学英语教学观摩研讨会”在会上，来自全国各省市区的教学精英进行了激烈的角逐，我们也充分认识到自己的优势和劣势，回到学校后，我也组织了组内交流会，让大家分享我们的收获。而今天下午的第一节课我们全组也在一三班对彭静老师的一节研究课进行集体教研。我们相信研究无止境，有时，挫折会使我们成长地更快，也是一种难言的美丽。
校本课程——国际理解的开设，使我相信“人的`潜力是无限的”从备课到搜集资料，从集体研究到个人发挥，组内每个教师都以不同的特色来诠释英语的魅力。张小瀛，王宗霞老师沉稳的风格，王颖老师活泼的教学和彭静老师亲和的教态都给我们留下了深刻的印象。国际理解课主要在正常教学的基础上，加入以西方文化的渗透和中西方各个方面的差异为主。本期，我们在延续一贯风格的同时，积极参加各类活动。如，研究课的呈现，小导游的诞生，学生作品的展示都让每个年级的国际理解班脱颖而出。得到家长和学生的欢迎。
说到对下学期的设想，我想从以下三点来看：
1，继续早读环节，努力减少两极分化。
在星期二到星期五的早读中，每位教师兢兢业业，尽心尽责。在自然组的支持下，我们的早读顺利开展了一学年。在这里，表示感谢。
2，加强新教师培训，促进老教师发展。
本学期我们组集体教研次数多，问题有针对性。在下学期，我们将围绕校级课题进行。将推出张小瀛老师的国际理解课，彭静老师的见面课等。我们也将进行组内读书活动，以英文翻译和欣赏的形式推动组内专业水平。时间暂定为一星期一次，欢迎各位老师前来分享。我们会承担一次雅园讲坛，一切都在计划和筹备中。
3，强化学生基础知识，认真准备期末检测。
在半期检测的基础上，夯实学生基础知识，加强专项练习。特别是高段的教学内容主要放在时态，比较级最高级，习惯性用法的融会贯通，在讲题的同时教给学生做题的方法和技巧。加强单词和句型的训练，保证课前听写的质量。

作为你们孩子的英语老师，我想通过这个家长会，和你们共同探讨一下“怎样帮助孩子学好英语”、“家长和教师如何共同帮助孩子学习成长”等问题，希望各位家长针对各自孩子在生活、学习等方面的表现，提出宝贵意见，一起帮助孩子快乐学习、健康成长。首先，我先说一下孩子们的学习表现。这个班的英语，我是从三年级就一直带着的，学生们都是在同一起跑线上学习进步的，经过两年来的学习，学生与学生之间的学习表现不一，拉开了一定差距。一些学生学习兴趣浓，学习劲头足，课堂上思维，踊跃发言，课后及时巩固，形成了良性循环的好势头。他们的学习习惯好，在听、说、读、写方面都能齐头并进，我为他们感到欣慰。可也有一些学生，平时学习马虎，基础不扎实，得过且过，兴趣不浓，书面作业拖拉不交，口头作业根本不完成，如此一来，学习自然成了件头痛事，麻烦事，学习成绩一直提不上去。其实，大部分的学生还是处于中间层次，老师所教的，所布置的作业能够基本完成，但学习的效率又因人而异，存在着个体差别。尽管他们平时不需要老师操太多的心，费太大的力，但是说起各方面的表现，又总有一丝遗憾，我们教师和各位家长的心情一样，总希望他们能够再上一个台阶，能够学有所成。
怎样帮助孩子学好英语呢？家长和教师如何共同帮助孩子学习成长呢？老师自然是最直接的知识传授者，有着不可推卸的责任，但是家庭教育至关重要，你重视了，你付出了，孩子们自然会学有所成，你松懈了，你不管了，孩子的学习自然搞不好，在此，我呼吁我们的家长多配合学校，多配合老师，靠我们共同的努力来帮助孩子学好英语，和孩子共同成长、共同进步。
我认为，英语学习并不难，难就在于没有一个好的家庭教育环境，没有养成好的学习习惯。我们要在以下几个方面加强对孩子的学习教育。
一、要给孩子们营造宽松的学习环境。
一是学校的学习环境。我们老师在英语教学过程中，尊重每个学生，保护他们的自尊心和积极性。创造各种合作学习的活动，促进学生互相学习，互相帮助，体验成就感，发展合作精神；关注学习有困难的或性格内向的学习，尽可能地为他们创造语言的机会；建立融洽、民主的师生交流渠道，经常和学生一起反思学习过程和学习效果，互相鼓励和帮助，做到教学相关；加强对学生学习策略的指导；引导学生在学习过程中，进行自我评价，并根据需要调整自己的学习目标和学习策略。孩子们在学的轻松，学习的主动性、自觉性不断提高，我们给学生营造了宽松的学习环境。
二是家庭的学习环境。每位家长一定要关注孩子们的学习，多鼓励，多给孩子们营造宽松的家庭学习环境，不能不管不顾，放任自流，不能无原则打骂孩子，要针对孩子们的学习表现，多和学校老师沟通，多和孩子们沟通，共同帮助孩子改正缺点，树立信心，培养孩子们学习兴趣。
二、要重视孩子们良好学习习惯的养成
1、让孩子多听、多想
首先是加强听力训练和说话训练，然后才是读写能力的培养。听说能力差，用英语进行交际的能力差，为此，家长一定要配合学校来要求孩子，要创造条件让孩子多听，多听纯正的录音，听几遍、听清楚了以后，跟着说，从小培养孩子的听觉，为将来打好基础。
2、让孩子多说、多练
家长要每天让孩子多读英语、多多练习说话，要鼓励孩子大声地朗读、对话、问答，大声说，不害羞，这样有利于清楚地表达自己，培养信心，能力，敢说、多练才会学好英语。
3、让孩子熟练背诵课文和单词背诵
这是一项基本功，可以积累一些日常用语，到用的时等候就可以脱口而出。但是在背诵过程中要讲究方法，不可操之过急，要注意分散和集中相结合。我们一般是分段教课文，那就可以请学生分段背课文。等快教完的时候，再把课文串起来背，这样可以降低一点难度，让学生背得轻松些。但是在检查过程中，我们发现有一些学生背得相当熟练，可问他课文中的某个词组或句子的意思时，他却一问三不知。所以，我们在背诵过程中要注意上下文的理解，在理解的基础上达到背诵的要求，课文中涉及到的相关词组和句型，要让学生熟记，并能用它们来造句、说话。在具体的实施过程中发现：有些学生根本不用心学，能偷懒则偷懒，很多家长比较负责会查问有没有教新课，要不要默写，但孩子不老实，欺骗家长。这时候，你应该及时跟老师联系，做好沟通，让孩子知道：欺骗不是办法，也会受到相应的惩罚。
单词亦是如此，分散记忆、根据读音记忆单词都是可取的方法。有时，我们回家布置抄写单词，其目的不在于抄，而在于提醒学生记忆这些单词。但是在日常学习中，学生不重视这项作业，认为只是抄抄而已，不做也没什么关系，其实他连抄写都不做，根本别说是去背了，结果几次下来，他应付不过来，学习处于被动状态，从而影响了以后的学习，出现退步现象。因此，请大家在家里督促孩子保质保量地完成英语作业，该读的读、该说的说、该写的写、该记的记，及时巩固，养成良好的习惯。父母亲的良好榜样起着很大作用。孩子一般还没有明确的学习目的，这时，父母亲对学习的态度，特别是行为，会极大地影响孩子。你要让你的孩子知道，要善于学习，勤于学习，要多掌握知识，为了明天的成就，把握好今天的学习。

作为一名英语教师，我认为我对这三个班的孩子是尽心尽责的。我每天早来晚走，一心扑在这三个班的英语教学上。三个班的好几套作业，《同步练》，《一课一练》，《活动手册》，作业本，练习本等等我都认真的进行批改。有的时候还要带回家改。但是结果却不是那么的尽如人意。我分析后发现问题主要出在孩子的学习方法和学习习惯上。我发现学(本站推荐)习成绩好的孩子，他们都有好的学习习惯和学习方法。
好的听课习惯。课堂是教学最重要的环节，紧紧抓住40分钟比课后补四个小时都有用。课堂上应该要集中注意力，跟着老师走。这样不会漏掉任何一个知识点，才会学得全面。我发现有的同学在课堂上始终能保持注意力的集中，有的则是只能集中一段时间，还有一小部分是几乎没有多少时间是集中注意力的，手在下面动不停，老师点名的时候好一些，一转脸又不知道在干什么了。上课不听怎么可能学好英语呢？
学习英语主要就是操练句子，要说英语，学了要能说出来才是会了。课堂上我们留有大量的时间让孩子们朗读，表演。所以在英语课上积极发言就显得更加重要。我问那些不爱发言的孩子为什么不举手，他们说害怕错。我都是跟他们说：“即使错了也没关系，这样可以让老师发现你的问题在哪里并及时纠正。”作为家长也应该这样去鼓励他们，要他们抓住每次发言的机会。
作业是课堂教学的补充和巩固，作业完成质量的好坏直接关系到知识掌握的牢固程度。好的作业完成习惯包括按时完成作业和按时交作业，按老师的要求认真的，字迹清晰的正确的完成作业。虽然只有这几点，但真正做到也不是那么容易。特别他们还是孩子，孩子总有不自觉和管不住自己的时候，所以家长应该在这方面多下点工夫。对于做作业习惯较好的学生，家长只需要在他完成作业之后检查一下就可以了。但对于习惯相对较差的孩子来说，作为家长你可能就要多花点时间陪着他写了。我们也能理解家长工作的繁忙，但是对于你们来说最重要的是孩子的教育问题，孩子的成材才是你们作为家长真正的成功！
