Chaina has put a ban on the use of much thinner plastic bags starting on June 1,20xx.According to the ban people are not allowed to use super-thin plastic bags any more.And all the supermarkets are forbidden to provide customers the plastic bags for free. If the customers need a piastic bag, they must pay for it.
I think the ban is good for us, and it can protect our environment. As we all know, the plastic bags can cause the white pollution and pollute soli and water. Besides, producing plastic bags can waste much energy and make our earth worse.
So we should firmly carry out the ban sa that we can improve our environment. From now no, we should encourage our families and friends to use cloth bags or baskets. We mustn't litter the rubbish. And we should recycle plastic bottles, solt drink cans, and so on. I'm sure we can make our environment better.

Some people may proudly say: we are the masters of nature. However, as the consequence of this kind of "leadership" , now the "master" seems to be confronted with problems that are far beyond his control. Facts are really very ample. The
green house effect leaves islands and cities along the coast, such as this oriental pearl-Shanghai, in danger of the disaster of being drowned; the holes of the ozone layer make the earth less suitable to live for some creatures including human beings; the phenomena of EL Nino and La Nina leave the land with serious flood and drought, and the diseases, caused by pollution, are increasing at an incredible speed... Seeing all these facts, can we still ignore the counterattack of nature? We are not the masters of nature. Facing all the disasters made by ourselves, we, mankind as a whole should realize that we are just a normal member of the big family of nature. Any mistreatment towards nature will meet only with the revenge from her.
By saying so, I do not mean we should give a sudden stop to any development. Because that will result in a threat to the existence of human society. I mean we should treat nature equally, leaving the chance of existence and development to nature as we are obtaining the same thing, and thus we will get the situation of win-win.

Material waste: it means the waste of substance or things from which something else can be made. For example, people throw away the used metal products and buy a new one, so the old metal waste accumulates. At last, they become waste. For example, when people finish reading newspaper, the paper will become waste. When the glass is broken, it also becomes waste. Nobody wants to use a broken window or drink with a broken glass or wear a pair of broken glasses. Once it is broken, it becomes waste. The rate of using plastics is increasing day by day. People use plastic bags because they are convenient. When they get home, they throw the plastics way, paying no attention to the environment. The more convenience plastics brings to us, the more plastic waste is produced. This is called “white pollution” as most plastics are white. Some of our products we use every day are made of rubber, just like the tyres and the bottom part of our shoes. It’s true that rubber plays an important role in our life. Here, Id like to share my own experience abroad with you. Several years ago, I was very lucky to he an opportunity to live in the Australia about half a month. During that time, Not only did I enjoy the beautiful natural scenery there, but also I appreciated the peoples active way of protecting their environment. Now, whenever the environment protection is mentioned, the beautiful scenery of Australia will arise in my mind, white clouds flying across the blue sky, green grassplot sprinkled with colorful flowers and lovely squirrels playing happily among the trees.
