Hi everyone. My topic today is Maths in my Eyes.
When I mention the word “maths” some adjectives will come to mind, boring, difficult and complicated. But I think maths is very interesting. It is used almost everywhere in our life and also related to art and music.
We all know one geometrical concept, the golden section. It's very important in painting, sculpture and architecture, such as the Parthenon in Athens and the Venus de Milo. In nature a little pentagonal flower has its golden section. It looks beautiful.
What about its connection with music? Lets take a look at a straight and tight string. Pluck it, and then halve its length, then pluck it again. The sound we hear is the same note but a higher frequency. The Greek mathematician Pythagoras discovered this law and it developed into the musical scale we know today.
Another example is from the famous composer, Bach. When we listen to his music in “Well-Tempered Clavier”， we find the notes are always getting higher .But amazingly, in the end, it comes back to the initial height. Why is it? That's why Bach was great! It's a very interesting maths problem. We call it a paradox.
These days we learn maths at school. The only purpose is to get a high mark. But I personally think that those with curious and creative minds will open the door to the world of maths. Just as Galileo said, “Mathematics is the alphabet with which God has written the universe”。 Maths, in my eyes, is a fascinating subject that needs our passion and imagination. we know that exercise is also very important . exercising can make children more alert . there are many ways to exercise . you can run , swim , skate or play ball games like basketball , volleyball , football and golf . but maybe you dont know walking is also good for our body , and maybe its better than other sports . you should exercise in the morning , because you can enjoy fresh air then . some people like exercising at fitness centers , there are a lot of equipments . you should exercise for 20 minutes every day . dont exercise too much . its bad for us!
and a good sleeping habit is good for us , too .before we go to bed,we should drink some milk, it can help us sleep well.but i know some people always cant sleep well.i think they shouldnt, take a sleeping pill . after evening meal , they should go for walk or have conversations with their family or listen some light music . maybe these activities can make them than sleep well.

My dear Mr. and Misses, my fellows schoolmates,
Good morning! As you know and see, it is a sunny bump harvest season. In the city, in our school campus, everywhere is surrounded with roses which we together planted 4 years ago. Today may these roses and our friendship as well be together and comfort our excited hearts!
It was four years ago that everyone of us came from every part of China and formed a new collective. As we are young, it’s very easy for us to communicate. It was in the past four years that we were ambitious. It was in the past four years that we worried. It was in the past four years that we were content. It was in the past four years that we were vexed. It was in the past four years that we were friendly and lonely ... and it was in the past fours that we studied, lived and respected each other with genuine and with our ambitions. Our little portion of oneness is given a name, is told all kinds of thingsabout itself, and these details, opinions and ideas become facts, which gotowards building ourselves, our identity. And that self becomes the vehicle fornavigating our social world.
But the self is a projection based on other peoples projections. Is it whowe really are? Or who we really want to be, or should be?So this wholeinteraction with self and identity was a very difficult one for me growing up.The self that I attempted to take out into the world was rejected over and overagain.
And my panic at not having a self that fit, and the confusion that camefrom my self being rejected, created anxiety, shame and hopelessness, which kindof defined me for a long time.
The Importance of confidence
Whatever one does, one should do it with confidence. If one has no confidence, there is little possibility that one would ever achieve anything, especially when one is faced with drawbacks or hardships. This truth seems to be evident. However, in reality we do see a lot of people who complain that they like the ability to do something or that their difficulties are too great to be overcome. For someone, this might be true. But for many others, this only shows that they have lost heart.
Why do people often feel frustrated even though they are capable of doing something? There are, among others, two main reasons. First, these people do have a correct estimate of themselves. Second, they overestimate the difficulties.
It is possible to build up faith in oneself by having the right attitude towards one’s abilities. We should never underestimate one’s abilities. But believe in the proverb: “Where there is a will, there is a way.” Confidence is the promise for fulfilling a task successfully.
As we know, you have to learn how to fly much more independently instead ofunder your parents’ considerate protection when you get into college, which alsomeans you will e across enormous questions that should be solved by yourself.from my point of view, those main problems can fall into three parts.
first of all, the plicated relationship. for one thing, you have to knowhow cultural differences function in your relationship and respect them. inaddition, college students spend less time studying together owing to differentcourses’ choosing, which requires us to devote more energy to buildingrelationship. for the other thing, it is also vital to municate with yourparents often by using mobile phones or other tools.
secondly, the temptations. the college serves us a more relaxed environmentmixed with other temptations such as the internet, alcohols and so on. what’smore, the college teachers won’t pel you to study like before, you doze off orplay cell phone in class, and you flee up the morning class because you get uptoo late. such too frequent behaviors will cripple your passion and enthusiasmtowards life, so it is essential for us to resist these temptations and insistpursuing our own goals.
thirdly, the balance between study and work. most of us will choose to takea part time job to earn the extra money or just to exercise ourselves. but it issignificant to keep a relatively balanced relationship between them since ialways regard the study as our main task, so my principle is adjusting work tofollow the schedule of study.
in conclusion, whatever issues we meet or miseries we suffer from, confrontthe hash reality head on, what we can do is remembering the past, living in thepresent and looking forward to the future.
I'm happy every day, because I like working. While working, I can get a lotof happiness. But I prefer the world outside which is much more interesting.

International commerce department has more than 600 students in campus, There are about 30 teachers, most of them are master degree, and some of them has professor title.
2 years ago, I come to this school, and chose marketing as my major. I feel great here. Our teachers are always patient and dedicated. They share the commercial knowledge and experience in the class, and offer the opportunities to practice in enterprise.
Yes, our department has set up relationship with many companies. Some of them are the world well-known enterprise. Such as Ikea, Ups, Konca, Maesk, Lenovo, Walmark, and so on.
