At the year's end Rose finished the college degree. One week
aftergraduation Rose died peacefully in her sleep. Over two thousand college studentsattended her funeral to honorthe wonderful woman who taught by example that it'snever too late to be all you can possibly be.

一、陪伴
有家长问我几次，“孩子很努力，我们也天天陪着练习，可是成绩还是提不上去呢？”。
第一种情况，从量变到质变需要时间，这个过程虽然很痛苦，但是有父母的陪伴也是一种幸福，请鼓励我们的孩子坚持下去，会成功的。
第二种情况，学习方法不得当，不善于分析问题和总结问题，怎么能进步呢？
我们做家长要慢慢地陪着孩子长大，对待我们的孩子，言传身教，多要求自己，少要求孩子，和孩子一起共同成长。
二、沟通
孩子这个阶段已经开始有目标了，但是他们需要家长的帮助，比如督促孩子读课文，听听他的背诵。
三、不要对孩子乱发脾气
要站在孩子的位置上，了解他们的`想法。比如看见孩子作业没写完，不要一上来就咋呼、火冒三丈，你怎么还没写？天天就知道玩儿！等等。孩子会因此而好好写作业吗？当然不会，孩子会更抵触写作业。请用同理心教育孩子。“你不按时完成作业，我真的很难过。如果你能在半小时内把作业写完，我会觉得很开心。”
四、松懈现象
有的学生学过英语就对学校的英语课堂学习放松了。觉得都会，以考试傻眼了。我们还是得重视我们的课本。
在英语教学过程中，希望家长配合我的工作有：
一、监督孩子们完成当天的作业
其实老师每天布置的作业都是有针对性的，是对当天课堂知识的巩固和复习，所以要严格要求作业质量。
二、培养孩子记笔记的习惯
让孩子们准备一个错题本，记录自己当时做错的原因，再找同类型题练习，对复习知识很有帮助。
三、朗读和背诵
我认为朗读和背诵是学习语言最有效的方法了。即使今天的作业内容没有朗读背诵，每天也要拿出5分-10分钟大声的读读背背。
四、小目标
孩子们早上出门前定个小目标，比如：今天主动举手发言，或发言一次，发言二次等等。
坚持和认真，两个看上去很简单的词，但是做到持之以恒，很难，坚持做下去，受益终生。如果我们的父母热爱生活与学习，那么父母的榜样的力量大过100句甚至1000句道理。
