We may face stress from our jobs, families, peers, etc. Though stress adds flavor and challenge to life, too much stress can seriously affect people's physical and mental well-being, so it is necessary to handle stress properly.
When it comes to reducing stress, people vary in their ways. Some people talk with someone, perhaps a friend or a family member, about their anxieties and worries. Others allow themselves a mental “get-away”: a quiet country scene painted mentally can pert them from the tension of a stressful situation to a more relaxing frame of mind. There are also people who create a sense of peace by reading a good book.
The effective way to relieve stress for me is different from those mentioned above. I have several relaxation techniques. For examples, when stress occurs, I would take a deep breath and exhale and if possible, I would take a warm bath. They prove to be very helpful. They help me to calm down my mind and improve my response.

It is always an exciting day in New Year Eve as the majority of people in the world are in very good mood of celebrating New Year. There are numerous New Year parties around the globe where many children are re-united with their families, young couples are together with their newborns, grandparents are taking their opportunities to spend some quality time with their own children as well as grandchildren. And the list goes on and on.
Just what exactly is New Year Eve? In my own view, I think there are two sets of meaning.
First, New Year Eve represents hope and a new start of the year. Hope is important to mankind. The symbolic meaning encourages us to put all our bad luck behind us as we look forward to a fresh start from the first day of the year.
Second, New Year Eve represents bonding between mankind. This important day grants all of us a chance to stay close to someone we love dearly. As we spend time with them, perhaps, we ask them how they are doing lately, or we find other ways to show someones how much we care for them.
What else do we get out of New Year Eve? Joy is the feel good factor. It means we enjoy being with someone. And joy is something that money can not buy in this world.

We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself. Don’t cry because it is over，smile because it happened. It is easy to describe success in terms of money, fame and reputation. But I believe that success is not external. I believe that success comes from within. My definition of success is to be true to yourself, and be true to others. That means, that you must cherish your personal ideal even in the face of adversity. I also believe that success is not discriminatory. Success is not restricted to such a class of people, in fact, it may be achieved by any person irrespective of his race, creed, gender and economic background. A good example of success is that of Beethoven. He is one of the world's most famous composers, yet he was deaf. He could not hear the majestic pieces of music that he created. Yet, in the face of this adversity, he was able to maintain his ideals--that of composing music.
To exemplify what success means to me, I pose a question to all of you. What brings us together here today? I believe that it is the beauty of the spoken word. The effect of pause and the sound of rhetoric are unique to the spoken word. I believe the beauty of the spoken word is even stronger for those who have difficulty in expressing themselves.
These people are reclusive and had their emotions hidden within them. I once went to Australia and I saw two pictures, Once was drawn by a normal child, the other was drawn by a child with social inhibitions. The picture drawn by the normal child was simple and plain. The other was life-like, full of details and imagination. What this shows is that these are ideas, emotions and feelings that are locked internally in thesechildren.
My ideal is to be the key, spreading the beauty of the spoken words to these children. These children have been neglected, but I feel that I can and should help these children to find themselves and be able to express themselves.
I realize that this is a difficult task, and there are many obstacles on the way. But I believe in my ideals and I will stick to them--even in the face of adversity. We should never have a premature abortion of ideals--let the child, let our ideals, stand the challenge. For a life without ideals is not living.

I am very glad to make a speech here in this ClASs again! This time, Id like to talk something about English.
I love English.English language is now used everywhere in the world.It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade.Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.
When I was seven, my mother sent me to an English school.At there, I played games and sang English songs with other children .Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.
Everyday, I read English following the tapes.Sometimes, I watch English cartoons.
On the weekend, I often go to the English corner.By talking with different people there, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English.
I hope I can travel around the world someday.I want to go to America to visit Washington Monument, because the president Washington is my idol.Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed.If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university, I will be very happy.
I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world.Ill introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and Anshan.
I know, Rome was not built in a day.I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well.
If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable.So I believe as I love English everyday , it will love me too.
Do you like dancing?
One of my classmates likes dancing very much. She hasbeen studying dance for ten years, she has studied national dance and ballet,and dance has made her an elegant girl. She had a teacher who taught her todance because she wanted to go to college by dancing. I like dancing, too, but Ilike street dance. I like watching street dance shows very much, such as "thisis street dance", I think street dance is very cool, can make a person veryattractive, and street dance spread love and peace, which is verymeaningful.
I love my mother.She is tall and thin.She has long and black hair.She isvery beautiful.She is about 30 years old.
She is a good teacher.She is strict about her students's studies.Everydayshe left her students' hall, but she also pay attention to their learning.She isvery busy.Even on Saturday and Sunday, she will put own day as preparation.Evenif she is so busy, she still finds time to help me with my studies and playsball games with me.
She is hard-working ,kind and patient.I remember one time I went to apicnic.She looks after me all the way.She has two children，one is me,another ismy elder brother.My mother like us very much.
I like her very much!I hope my family will happily all the way.

她是个好老师。她对学生的学习要求严格。每天虽然她离开了她的学生宿舍，但她也很关心他们的学习。她很忙。即使在星期六和星期日，她会为自己的一天做准备。即使她很忙，她还是会抽出时间来帮助我学习还有和我一起打球。
她勤劳，善良和耐心。我记得有一次我去野餐。她全程照顾我。她有两个孩子，一个是我，另一个是我的哥哥。我妈妈喜欢我们。

My mother is a junior high school teacher. She teaches English.
My mother gets up at 6a.m. every day and has breakfast at 6:30a.m. Shealways arrives at school at 7:25 a.m. She usually has two lessesons in themorning. In the afternoon, she have one lesson. After school, she playsvolleyball with her students.
In the evening, she cooks dinner. After dinner, she prepares her lessons.She sometimes help me with my homework. She usually goes to bed at 11p.m.

But for myself ， I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness ， but also because of my love for it . When I learn English， I can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the world.
